A 3.97-inch TFT screen is a slightly larger version of the typical 3.5-inch TFT display, offering more screen real estate for your embedded or DIY projects. It retains the key advantages of TFT technology-such as vibrant colors, sharp resolution, and fast refresh rates-but with a slightly larger form factor. This makes it suitable for applications that require a bit more space but are still relatively compact.

 
The screen size is 3.97 inches. It adopts TFT (Thin Film Transistor) active matrix technology and is equipped with an IPS panel, which is a common configuration for screens of this specification. It can achieve a wide viewing angle of 80 degrees on the left, right, top, and bottom. The picture quality remains stable regardless of the viewing angle. The resolution is 480x800, with a dot pitch of 0.108mm×0.108mm. The picture is clear and detailed, suitable for vertical display scenarios. The contrast ratio usually reaches 900:1, and some models can have a brightness of 600 nits, providing good visibility even in strong light conditions.

It adopts a 24-pin interface design, usually connected in the form of FPC flexible printed circuit board. The interface type is MIPI DSI (mostly 2 channels). This interface is specifically designed for mobile devices. Compared with traditional interfaces, it has higher transmission rate and lower power consumption. The 24 pins include power ground, differential data pairs, differential clock pairs, reset pins, etc. For example, some pins are responsible for the transmission of MIPI data lanes and clocks, and there are also dedicated pins for powering LED backlight and reset control to ensure stable data transmission and normal screen start-up and shutdown.

The commonly used driving IC is ST7701S. Its operating voltage range is relatively narrow, and the interface power supply voltage is generally between 2.8 - 3.3V, with low operating power consumption. The working temperature range is mostly from -20ºC to 70ºC, and the storage temperature range is from -30ºC to 80ºC. It can adapt to most daily and general industrial environments. The module thickness is usually around 2mm. For some models, the size is 57.14×96.85×2.15mm. The compact size makes it easy to be embedded in small devices.

   Answer: No problem. Firstly, please kindly send us your specification/ drawing paper 
   If you have not the specification, you can also provide your samples; we will recommend the suitable one

 if it is standard products. Or we can customize for you based on your own requirement.

2.This LCD  is just what we want, but it is big size, do you have any smaller size? And the display content need to be changed a little.
      Answer: For the segment type LCD module, if you need modify the outline size or display content,
a new LCD glass module is need. We have to open new tooling for you.

3. This LCD display is HTN type, but I want STN type,can you make?
      Answer: That's all right .  we can change for you as per you request.
